When Christina & Dan asked me if I would be willing to travel to New England to photograph their summer camp wedding my response was, “heck yes!” Camp Common Ground in Starksboro Vermont had no shortage of charm. Positioned along side a creek, full of unique cabins and lodges, and even a swimming pond. It was so perfect that it felt more like a movie than real life.
We arrived the night before the wedding and were immediately welcomed with hospitality and kindness. We ate BBQ rehearsal dinner at a table with three guests from London, and one from D.C. It was such an eclectic and exquisite group. This is not surprising to those that know the bride and groom. Christina and Dan are two of the loveliest people that I have ever had the pleasure of meeting. They are kind, genuine, and simply delightful!
The day of the wedding was as fantastic as could be expected. After a beautiful ceremony and a night of dinner dancing and toasts, the best man showed a video that he’d made chronicling the story of the couple. It was perfect.
The wedding weekend was an exuberant occasion hosting joy, tears, laughing, dancing and creating new memories from old ones. Congratulations Christina and Dan! Thank you for letting me be a part of your wonderful celebration.
