MANIFESTO
I BELIEVE in family photos! They are SO rewarding. Looking back on my own family photos it blows my mind how much my kids grow and change every year. I truly cherish each year’s set of photos and the special space in time they hold.
My aim is to give you a good mix of posed and natural images. We’ll definitely do a few where everyone is smiling and looking into the camera, but for the rest of the session, I love to capture you interacting with each other or playing with your little ones. I also shoot like crazy in all the in-between moments because usually that is where I get the true gems!
SESSIONS START AT: $275
Every Session Includes:
A minimum image count (because I KNOW I will get at least that many.) I tend to over-deliver on number of images. There are no hidden costs or upsales. I'm going to give you all the good ones!
An online image gallery to view, download, share and print your images. If you don't wish to print through the gallery, you can download the files and print them wherever you want, whenever you want.
All images both in high-resolution format (for printing) AND low resolution format (which is optimal for social media use.)
MINI SESSION
15 MINUTES OF PHOTOGRAPHY / ONE LOCATION / 15+ IMAGES
LIMITED AVAILABILITY: MUST BUNDLE WITH ANOTHER FAMILY, OR GRAB A SPOT WHEN I OFFER FALL MINI SESSION DATES.
This is more of posed session with classic portraiture. We'll mostly get images where everyone is looking nice, right into the camera. One or two backgrounds in a single location. Possibly individual portraits and a few candids if time permits. It's a great option if you just want a few good photos and you don't want to pose for very long.

30 minute session
30 MINUTES OF PHOTOGRAPHY / 30-75+ IMAGES
This is a great option for most families. It is long enough to get both posed and candid imagery, but not too long for young children.
If you need a little extra help outfitting your family, I have a wonderful stylist I can recommend.

FULL session
1 HOUR OF PHOTOGRAPHY/ ONE CLOTHING CHANGE/ 60-100+ IMAGES
This is a great option if you want to have the most variety of imagery. We will get a nice variety of photos and backgrounds within one location. Some posed and some candid. Some close up and some far away. Some of your family looking into the camera and some more relaxed/ natural photos as you interact. With an hour session, I'm able to get a really nice variety of photos and those more artful images.
You'll also have time to incorporate multiple outfits. I suggest one rather dressed up and one casual look.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
WHAT SHOULD WE WEAR?
Yes! My advice is to wear something you feel comfortable in. Plan your outfits so that you are complementary to one another, but avoid matching. I would also encourage you not to go too casual if you can help it. shorts and flip flops never look good in photos and It's also smart to avoid anything with logos. If you need a little extra help with outfitting your family, I have a wonderful stylist I can recommend. Just ask and I’ll get you in touch with her.
WHAT SHOULD WE BRING FOR AN OUTDOOR SHOOT?
For an outdoor shoot please try not to have anything on you that you won't need because I like to do a lot of shooting in-between the moments while you are walking from place to place. If you don't need a purse/ etc. that would be ideal. Also, please no bulky objects in your pockets! I can hold onto phones and keys if it's helpful while we are photographing. Feel free to bring a blanket if you like the picnic-type photos with everyone sitting down.
HOW CAN WE BE PREPARED FOR AN INDOOR SHOOT?
For an indoor shoot, have the areas you would like to take photos in free of clutter. Gather any “eye soar” items that aren’t in use and put them out of view. Keep in mind that whatever is in plain sight in the room, will most likely be in your pictures. I like to use as much natural light as much as possible. I think it is so much prettier than flash. If you have a room with big windows or a lot of natural light that will be an ideal spot to shoot.

when do we get our images?
I believe that editing and post processing is a huge part of the final image. Because of this, I do all of my own editing and don’t source it out. I meticulously cull, color correct, crop and adjust each image to deliver my very best work, every time. Each event has different lighting situations and skin tones, so I create custom color adjustments every time. For these reasons, I ask that you patiently wait the 30 days it takes for image delivery.
DO YOU RETOUCH images?
I offer very basic retouching and try to keep this pretty minimal. I aim to keep things truthful and authentic. I’ll correct blemishes or minor background eye soars when needed, but won’t alter bodies.
