We cannot say enough good things about Terra. We loved working with her, and she did an amazing job capturing our wedding. We'd recommend working with her for so many reasons. Here are some highlights:
She's talented. She has an amazing eye and captured a perfect blend of candid moments and detailed shots that we really wanted. We've already gotten so many compliments on photos we've shared. They're romantic, organic, and real.
She's organized and professional. Before the wedding, she helped us distill our timeline and the key moments we wanted to capture so we felt 100% confident going into the day. She scouted out "first look" and wedding party locations in advance and had a detailed shot list so we got through the family and wedding party photos in an efficient, non-stressful way. We had a massive wedding party so this was no small feat.
Her team is awesome and easy going. They worked so hard that day and seemed to be in a dozen places at once. At the same time, they blended in and were relaxed so the guests all loved them as well.
Terra also over delivers. She was very efficient about sending all our photos and organizing them by chapter. The jump drive was delivered in a beautiful package so we had our own "unboxing" moment. It was luxe and special.
Choosing Terra as our photographer was one of the best decisions we made - we're so grateful she was there to capture the day!

"Terra made us feel so comfortable! Both Justin and I are extremely camera shy, but she made it extremely easy for us on a day that’s already filled with a lot of jitters. We were so completely blown away, by how she was able to capture each of us in a way that made us feel beautiful. We rarely see photographs of ourselves that we find flattering, but after seeing the photos from Terra we were both absolutely stunned.
Terra and Leah are both some of the sweetest people I’ve ever met, and it made the entire process so pleasant! We encountered a lot of really difficult vendors throughout this process, so it was so refreshing to have Terra and Leah be so professional and accommodating. “I found Terra while doing a Google search for "Portland Wedding Photos" and just clicking on photos I liked. I fell in love with all the photos on Terra's website and never really looked at another photographer. She was the first vendor we hired and one of the best choices we made for our wedding. She did our engagement photos as well as our wedding photos. We planned an engagement shoot in Laurelhurst Park in August and of course, Oregon being Oregon, it rained. No matter! Terra helped us run with the unexpected and our photos turned out better than I could have hoped. On our wedding day (also in August!) rain in the first half of the day threw off our timeline (as well as the fact that I didn't start getting ready on time) and Terra and her team were flexible, fun, and professional- going with the flow while also somehow keeping us on track. If you are drawn to documentary style photography, where the attention to detail is spectacular and you can relive the entire day through your photos then she is the photographer for you.
From the start, Terra was professional, thorough and sincere. We knew we are in good hands. When you are planning a wedding, having complete confidence in a vendor is a rarity and a burden that is happily surrendered. Photography was a top priority for our wedding, after all, it is just one day and we wanted every special moment and nuance to be captured. She accomplished it. We also had a laundry list of specific shots we wanted and Terra succeeded in capturing every one of them and took our requests with an enthusiastic stride. Between our planning sessions and the day-of schedule she created we knew she was in tune to what we were looking for in our wedding images.
On the day of the wedding, Terra and her second shooter, Maria, and assistant, Leah, were warm, easy going and inviting, getting even my shy groom to be comfortable taking photos. What I truly love is Terra’s ability to capture your essence as a couple. You aren’t posed or static, you are you!
