ABOUT TERRA

Hello. I'm Terra. I've been a photographer since I was nine and I took a bunch of really bad pictures with a point and shoot 35mm camera. I've come a long way since then!

I've always been a memory person. I believe there is so much magic in a photograph. It allows something to keep on existing, even after It's gone. I'm an artist to the core... always searching for beauty in light and compositions. I strive to figure out how I can use my art/ eye/ artistic abilities to create something that you can cherish forever. That is where it gets really rewarding and when the true magic happens.

I live in Portland with my little family and I am thankful every day that I get to do something I love as a career. I got my BFA in photography from California College of the Arts in 2009, and then promptly moved back home to Oregon where my heart is. When I'm not taking photos I enjoy spending time with my family, road trips, camping, croquet, dancing, board games, large bodies of water, lobsters, flannels, champagne, the color yellow, and accordions! Life is good.
