Margo and Jim are an endearing pair. I had the pleasure of meeting them for the first time when I photographed their engagement shoot earlier this year. Jim wasn’t initially thrilled to have to pose for photos, but we all had a great time running around town on a photo adventure that included morning coffee, a hike in the park, and climbing a tree. I was especially excited for their wedding this year.
The lovely couple was married on private land in White Salmon Washington. I have to say that the scenery at this place was epically gorgeous! It was so pretty that when they brought me up on the mountain to the lookout point, I had a momentary photographer’s meltdown because I was so overwhelmed by the beauty. The ceremony was short, sweet, and heartfelt. After which, guests enjoyed an evening of lounging, lawn games, beer, wine and delicious wood-fired pizza. They laughed and cried at thoughtful toasts, while sitting at a long, farm-style table, and enjoying a breathtaking view of the valley. I feel privileged to have had the opportunity to capture this amazing day and the love of these two charming people. Congratulations Margo & Jim!
